BIOGRAPHY

After the release of her debut album 'Out of the Dark', Grainne Duffy has been receiving much praise and acclaim in her native Isle. UTV's George Jones who has featured Grainne live three times already on his drivetime show and has become one of her key admirers has also passed the album on to another well known guest Beth Neilson Chapman. Beth was so impressed with Grainne's talent that she promised to forward it to her friend, the artist with whom Grainne has been receiving many comparisons to, the wonderful Bonnie Raitt. Furthermore the BBC's Gerry Anderson is also busy championing this new emerging talent, featuring her album many times on his show.Grainne also appeared live on his show presented by another admirer Ralph Mc Lean.Her album has also been featured many times on Downtown Radio's Jackie Flavelle Show, on U105's Rock Show, Radio Kerry's The Zone with Pat Cunnane and RTE's Roots Freeway with Niall Toner.

In England Grainne has also been making waves as she has been approached by Guitarist magazine to appear in their upcoming article Fret Buzz. Guitarist will also be doing a review of the album. Guitar Techniques are also doing a similar feature on Grainne and her album and a review of her debut mostly self penned album which Guitarist and Guitar Techniques were extremely impressed with not alone her well crafted song writing, passionate singing but also for her tasteful and accomplished guitar playing.
